Visted a traditional textile factory in West London for learning about production process of textile fabric　as I have doing intenship in a textile interior company at the moment.
The factory has running business for over 80 years in west london.
There are many industory print machines...
There are many English chaps who speak cockney accent with a cup of tea.
I was hiding and wondering around in the huge space with my camera.

インターンの研修の一部で西ロンドンにある８０年前から続くテキスタイルのプリント工場へ。

見たことのない沢山の機械。ワーキングクラスのおじさん、お兄さんたちに「よう、姉ちゃん、元気かよ！」と言われながら、子供の様にひっそり歩いたり、ボスに隠れて写真を撮ったり。

帰りに「また来いよ！」と言われたので遠慮なく訪ねたいくらいです。

Darning socks

Joined a workshop by textile collective Bricolage and artist Celia Pym at Clarke & Reilly shop.
I was bit shy to jumped in the group although It was really fun to chat with artists in warm atomosphere in the chill evening.
Non stop my hand for darning my holly socks, oh,no. oh,yes, holey socks.
I will show you when it would finished up.

Bricolageというテキスタイルのグループの主催する繕い物のワークショップに参加してきました。
このグループ、Tent London というデザイン系の展示会で見て以来、ずっと気になっていたのです。
会場は西ロンドンにあるアンティークショップ。
知らない人ばかりのグレートアーティストの中に飛び込むのはすこし勇気がいるけれど、まあいいか。
最後はおしゃべりも弾んで暖かい冬の夕べ。
穴だらけの靴下は今も手術中です。
出来上がったら見せてあげる。

Tokyo retrospective 2011

Came back to home town. No idea where is the hot spot in Tokyo at the moment.
Ebisu? No. Harajyuku? No, no. Daikanyama No, no, no...
The best area is Musashino where I was born and many sweet memories that I have.
Went to my family grave, my family members have been sleeping since 16 century.

And an area is called Kagurazaka where is traditional Japanese atmosphere that I enjoyed.
There is a wonderful florist "Koujien" I was totally enchanted in the middle of flowers and antiques.

A photo on the top is a entrance of a local residence, bottom one was taken at restaurant Kado where I had a lunch. Remind me of Yasujiro Ozu's film in 50's.

日本に帰省していました。外国人の友達に「どこが今かっこいいの？」というような質問を受けます。恵比寿？いや。原宿？いや、代官山？　いや。。。

私にとっての東京と言えば、やはり生まれた頃から時間を過ごしている武蔵野。いい思い出しか残っていなのです。私の親族が１６世紀から眠っているお墓もあることもあり縁のある土地。

以前から行きたいと思っていた念願の花屋「小路苑」さんではあまりの素敵さにしばらくぼんやりしていました。写真はお昼を食べたお店「カド」と誰かの家の門。
神楽坂は本当にお勧め。

No hibernation in this winter

Oh, dear, long time no up dating this blog. sorry for having a nap for such a long time. It's time for waking up to find out something nice from somewhre else.

おっと、しばらく冬眠し過ぎてしまいました。もう起きる時間？

The reason why I am packed in my room

Not really intrested in x mas or new year. I haven't been out side for a while for my uni work. Forgot the day today.Is it 27? not 28?on Monday or Friday.

But it a big fun to experimentation for printing on leather with masking tapes ,a tiny tiny spong and look at this!
the dots that I droped was made by stencil with holes of a page of notebook. Cross fingers for handing all homework out after the hoiday.

宿題のせいでもう何日も外に出ていない。ここまでこもっていると今日が何日か分からなくるけれど、いいことも。

宿題の一つで作っている皮のポーチ、買って来たシープスキンにマスキングテープと。。。
水玉の部分は実はリングノートの穴をステンシルさせたもの。スポンジでとんとんたたいてできた快挙です。

A lovely book which came out in 1970. There are many photos of cakes but they are all looks tastless, tacky that I really like. Got it £2 in local cafe in Stoke Newington.
